Aaron is conveniently located off of the Trans-Canada Highway 17, making it the perfect stopping point for cross-country travellers. Popular with local users, the park offers day use, car camping, and seasonal campsites. It features two sandy beaches and a boat launch on Thunder Lake making it a popular choice for swimming, boating, hiking and great fishing. Campsites can accommodate equipment ranging from tents to large trailers. Half of the campsites offer electrical hook-ups. A non-electrical group campsite is located in the southern section of the park providing privacy and individual site access. Park amenities include water taps, a comfort station with flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities, playground, picnic shelter, fish cleaning building, and trailer dump/fill station…
