what to expect

Buffalo Lake Provincial Recreation Area (known locally as Boss Hill) offers a secluded camping experience on the shores of northeast Buffalo Lake. Take a walk down the shoreline or along the small beach, watch for owls, song birds and deer in the surrounding forest, or take a boat out on to the lake for some great fishing. Waterskiing and wind surfing are also popular activities on the water. Due to this campground’s small parking capacity, day-use availability is limited. On busy summer days and weekends, day-use visitors should consider visiting other sites including Rochon Sands Provincial Park and The Narrows Provincial Recreation Area . Please contact the campground operator for more information.
