what to expect

Cataract Creek Provincial Recreation Area is 45 km southwest of Longview on Hwy. 541 and 12 km south on Forestry Trunk Road 940. Cataract is another word for a waterfall, which is why this creek, featuring several waterfalls along its course, was given its name. This park contains a campground, a day use area, and access to the Cataract Creek Snow Vehicle Public Land Use Zone . This park is a popular spot for fishing in Cataract Creek and for hiking the 4km (8km return) trail to the thundering Titan Falls.
