Private campground
Alberta

what to expect

The portion of the river at Cotillion offers the same spectacular view that impressed Alexander MacKenzie in 1793 as he paddled upriver searching for the route to the Pacific Ocean. Rugged sandstone cliffs weathered into intriguing hoodoo formations; undisturbed parkland forests sheltering moose, deer, black bear, beaver and bald eagles. You can walk down and fish right from the banks of the Mightly Peace River.
