Take in the fresh mountain air at Deer Creek Provincial Recreation Area, located 48km from the heart of Sundre. This park features a group use area that is equipped with outhouses, picnic tables, and a camp kitchen with a woodburning stove. This is a self-maintained group use area operated by the Friends of the Eastern Slopes . A nightly fee is not charged; however, campers are encouraged to purchase an annual membership to support their operation.
