Elk Creek Campground is found in Elk Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 65 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House on Forestry Trunk Road (Hwy. 734). This small campground near the Clearwater River provides a base for those wishing to fish or explore hiking and equestrian trails in the area. The use of OHVs is permitted at this campground. Please keep OHVs on established roadways within the recreation area. This is a self-maintained campground operated by the Friends of the Eastern Slopes . A nightly fee is not charged; however, campers are encouraged to purchase an annual membership to support their operation.
