what to expect

Nestled between two lakes in the heart of southern Nova Scotia, this park offers walking trails in a hardwood setting, canoeing, swimming, and camping for all those who like to enjoy the outdoors. The quiet beauty of nature is evident everywhere. The shoreline holds some of Nova Scotia's rare plants, and the lakes have both brown and speckled trout, chain pickerel, and Atlantic salmon. The park offers an 87-site campground (86 Wooded; 1 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, two picnic areas, boat launch, a supervised beach, and a hiking trail. Serviced and Unserviced sites are offered. Water taps and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located just 20 km (12 mi.) northeast of Yarmouth and 5 km (3 mi.) south of Deerfield. Exit…
