Emily is located on the Pigeon River and provides access to the Trent Severn Waterway and the Kawartha Lakes. The park offers both camping and day use opportunities. In the day use area, visitors can enjoy a boat launch with designated parking for vehicles with boat trailers, docks for fishing, picnicking areas, designated on-leash dog area with water access, BBQ stands, and a comfort station. The park also offers canoe and kayak rentals at the Park Store. A sandy beach and designated swimming area is located in the campground. The Hilltop, Hill, and Circle Campgrounds offer many large, private, and grassy sites that can accommodate various types of equipment ranging from tents to large trailers.
