Alberta Parkswhat to expect
Fairfax Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located 50 km southeast of Robb on Hwy. 40. This large lake is ideal for canoeing and fishing for rainbow trout and brook trout. The campground has 27 spacious and well treed sites near the lakeshore. The road is normally accessible by 2-wheel drive. However, in the spring during wet weather, Highway 47 can be rough and a 4-wheel drive or a vehicle with high clearance is recommended.
