Little Elbow Provincial Recreation Area is about 30 km west of Bragg Creek along Hwy. 66 (closed Dec.1 to May 15 annually). This scenic park is a fantastic basecamp for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, with plenty of trials nearby, including the popular Little Elbow Trail . The two campgrounds feature spacious, treed sites, plenty of walk-in tenting, and an equestrian camping area. Visitors can also cast a line in the Little Elbow River that flows through the park or picnic at the popular Forgetmenot Pond.
