Comprising 733 hectares, the park has balsam fir stands dominating sheltered areas with heath vegetation common in more exposed areas. This park, with its sheltered campsites and freshwater beach, provides the perfect base camp for visitors to explore the historic communities of the Bonavista Peninsula. Route 236, 6 km north of Port Rexton. The Lockston Path Provincial Park campsites are open seasonally.
