Found on the southern portion of the Rocky Mountains in the Kootenay Range, Mount Fernie Park is plentiful in natural beauty. Diverse forests, vegetation and wildlife can be found here.  Visitors can enjoy hiking trails and the view of the waterfall which flows from Lizzard Creek. Proximity to City of Fernie offers such amenities as golfing, restaurants and art galleries. This area is also popular for mountain biking and the opportunity for fishing in the nearby Elk River.
