tidewater
Ontario Parkswhat to expect
The park consists of 5 islands in the Moose River between Moosonee and Moose Factory. Charles Island is the only one with designated campsites, which can be found on the trail just off of the day use area overlooking the town of Moosonee. There are water taxis that can be taken from the Park to Moosonee and Moose Factory. Caution is advised as the winds, tides and river currents can challenge even the most experienced paddlers.
