Ontario Parks inside Wabakimi Provincial Parkwhat to expect
Wabakimi offers remote backcountry camping that can be accessed by canoe, float plane or train. Many of the canoe routes require skillful paddling, navigation, outdoor living techniques and adventurous portaging. Campsites are unmarked and rustic. They vary in size and ground cover, ranging from large bedrock areas to small wooded clearings. Paddlers are permitted to camp at any location as long as the site is returned to the same or better condition as it was found.
