The Eagle Point-Blue Rapids park system is located along the North Saskatchewan River Valley. It’s comprised of Eagle Point Provincial Park and Blue Rapids Provincial Recreation Area, and has incredible recreation opportunities. Eagle Point-Blue Rapids Parks Council is a non-profit organization that cooperatively manages the two protected areas. This collaborative multi-stakeholder organization is comprised of representatives from local municipalities, volunteer-based recreation and service organizations, industry, environmental organizations, and Alberta Parks. Together, the Parks Council and Alberta Parks guide the funding, planning, operations and management of the parks.
