what to expect

This small provincial recreation area along the western shore of Cold Lake has a campground with powered sites. Cold Lake is a large lake on Alberta's eastern border, and a popular spot for lake activities. Bird watchers will find this a great location for songbirds such as the wood warbler, flycatcher and thrush in the treetops, as well as waterfowl along the shoreline.
