George Lake Campground is open for camping all year. The main gates are closed during the snowy season and the campground and yurts become “walk in” from approximately the end of November to the beginning of May. Campground D – sites #82 to #113 including the East Beach are radio-free. Camp Cabins are located in Campground B secluded from the rest of the campground. Yurts are found in their own private location in Campground A. Visitors can park in a nearby lot and use the available wagons to bring their gear to the site.
