Alberta Parkswhat to expect
Medicine Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located 47 kms north of Rocky Mountain House on highway 22 and 12 kms southeast on a gravel access road. The Medicine Lake campground sites are surrounded by trees for privacy, and a few are located next to the lake. Launch your canoe or boat to fish, visit the playground or explore informal OHV trails off-site. Please keep OHV's on trailers in the recreation area. The Medicine Lake Group site is a private site with its own boat launch, 9 campsites with room for additional units and boasts the most beautiful sunsets in Alberta. Bring your boats or kayaks for an enjoyable time fishing or just paddling.
